Berries are rich in antioxidants and vitamins and these are good for your body. Antioxidants prevent the oxidation of other molecules, reducing the number of free radicals in our body. As these free radicals damage our cells, you can understand why berries are famous for their healthy properties. And when you add to the mix their sweet and sour taste, the result is a delightful smoothie, namely the Very Berry!

 

This recipe is for 2 servings. This smoothie is one possible gateway for newcomers to enter the smoothie world.

Easy to prepare and easy to drink.

 

INGREDIENTS
 
  • 1 cup of Mixed Berries (Strawberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, and Pomegranate)

  • 1 cup of Plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup of Water

  • 5-6 Dates

 

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Wash, dry and freeze your berries ahead of time.

  2. Add all the ingredients to your blending device.

  3. Run the smoothie preset (if you have any) or blend at full power for 40 seconds. If you want a smoother consistency, add 10 to 20 seconds of blending time.

  4. Pour into a glass and top with some pomegranate
