Feeling peckish? Instead of digging into a bag of chips or pre-made snacks, let's take 5 minutes to quickly assemble an easy and healthy vegan treat that will give you the energy you need. The Tropical Snack recipe can be prepared in 5 minutes maximum. It will surely provide you the nutrients your body is calling for while being fully raw vegan.

 

All you need is 1 knife, 1 spoon, and a glass to be able to prepare it, reducing the amount of dish washing.

I don't know about you, but now I am looking forward to snack time!

 

This recipe is for 1 serving.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced

  • 1/2 of a papaya 

  • 1 tbsp of hemp hearts

  • 1 tsp of tahini

  • Water

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Slice the papaya in half and remove the seeds from the center creating, a little bowl. 

  2. Peel and slice the banana into circles.

  3. Mix 1 teaspoon of Tahini with some water to make a liquid paste/dressing to be spread in the center of the papaya.

  4. Layer the banana inside the papaya/on top of the tahini paste.

  5. Sprinkle the hemp hearts on top.

  6. Serve chilled.
