Fruit Salad

 

Summer Salad! Summer days can be rough sometimes, dry and hot and leaves you craving for something cold, refreshing and easy to make! Search no more we have what you need.

 

This recipe is for eight medium dessert servings.

 

INGREDIENTS
 
  • 1 melon

  • 4 nectarines (or peaches)

  • 2 cups of strawberries

  • 1 orange

  • 1 lemon

  • Cinnamon

  • Tonka bean powder (or vanilla sugar)

  • Honey (optional)

 

 

 

 

 
DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Peel the melon. Remove the seeds. Dice the flesh of the melon. Wash thoroughly the nectarines (if peaches, peel them). Dice them, removing the seed. Wash the strawberries and drain of the water. Dice them and put all the diced fruits in a large bowl.

  2. Squeeze the orange and the lemon making sure to not have any seeds in the juice. Add some cinnamon powder and some Tonka bean powder (or vanilla infused sugar if you do not have this spice). If your fruits are not very sweet, add in some honey to your taste but we encourage you to use fruits in season to ensure its bursting with flavours, ripe and sweet naturally.

  3. Add the juice to the fruits and stir the whole so that all the fruits are coated with the juice. Seal the bowl with some plastic film and put it in the fridge for one hour at least. Enjoy !
